About Vacuum Dried Watermelon
Watermelon, vacuum dried to a featherlight, deeply pink slice. All the sweetness, none of the weight — and no drips, spills or seeds.
Why vacuum dried
Watermelon is mostly water, which makes it bulky, messy and impossible to carry. Removing the water leaves the taste and the colour behind.
Drying is done at low temperature under vacuum rather than with heat, which is why the colour, shape and aroma of the raw produce stay recognisable. Fruit is handpicked, washed and sliced, dried, then packed by farmers in barrier bags with a modified atmosphere.
How to use it
- A light travel snack
- In a lunchbox
- Through a fruit salad
- As a garnish
