Privacy notice

This notice explains how Orchard Farm Fresh Vacuum Dried Fruits (India) Pvt Ltd ("we") handles your personal data when you use this website. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. In the language of that Act, we are the Data Fiduciary and you are the Data Principal.

What we collect, and why

• To deliver your order — name, email address, phone number and delivery address, and the contents of your order. Without these we cannot ship to you.
• To keep you signed in — your email address and name, stored on your own device.
• To run the shop — your cart and saved products, stored on your own device so they survive between pages.
• To answer you — anything you send us by email or tell us on the phone.

We collect nothing beyond what these purposes need. We do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent your personal data.

Cookies and tracking

We currently use no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. The site stores your cart, saved products and sign-in on your own device using browser storage, which is essential for the shop to work. If we ever add optional analytics we will ask first, through the consent bar, and you can decline without losing any functionality. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using Cookie & data choices in the footer — withdrawing is exactly as easy as giving it.

Your consent

Where we rely on your consent, it is limited to the purposes listed above. You may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and we may still need to keep records of a completed order to meet tax and accounting obligations.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

• Access — a summary of the personal data we hold about you and what we do with it.
• Correction and completion — have inaccurate or incomplete data put right.
• Erasure — have your data deleted once the purpose it was collected for is served, unless the law requires us to keep it.
• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us and receive a response.
• Nomination — nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

If your complaint is not resolved, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data, and we do not carry out tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet tax, accounting and consumer-law obligations. Data held only on your own device — cart, saved products, sign-in — stays until you clear it or sign out. When a purpose is served and no legal obligation requires retention, we erase the data.

Security and sharing

We share personal data only with those who need it to deliver your order — our courier, and our payment provider. Payment details are handled entirely by the payment provider; we never see or store card or UPI credentials. We require anyone processing data on our behalf to protect it and to use it only for that purpose.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update this page. Where a change materially affects how we use your data, we will ask for consent again.
